MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value — the standard measure for how well a filter traps airborne particles. MERV 11 hits the sweet spot: it captures dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores without restricting your system's airflow the way ultra-high-MERV filters can.
Cheaper MERV 5–7 filters let too much through. MERV 13+ can strain residential HVAC systems not designed for that level of restriction. MERV 11 is the right balance for the vast majority of Florida households.

We currently stock the most common 1-inch pleated filter sizes used in Central Florida homes: 16×20×1, 16×25×1, 20×20×1, and 20×25×1. Not sure what size you need? Just email us — we'll help you figure it out before you commit to anything.
Most customers choose quarterly delivery (every 3 months), which matches standard manufacturer recommendations. If you have pets, allergies, or run your AC heavily, we recommend our bi-monthly plan (every 6 weeks). You can change your cadence at any time.
